Toco Toucan

The toco toucan (AKA the common toucan or giant toucan) is the largest and best known species in the toucan family. It is found in semi-open habitats throughout a large part of central and eastern South America. It is a common attraction in zoos. It has a striking look with a mainly black body and a white throat and chest. Its uppertail is also white while its undertail is red.

Fun
Fact!

Despite its size, the toucan's bill is very light as it is made of keratin (like human hair) in a honeycomb-like structure.
